GPRS

The GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a service that extends the regular GSM network. The technology allows a more efficient, quicker and cheaper way to send and receive mobile data. Devices that use GPRS are constantly connected to the network but only occupy the network when they are actually using it (while sending or receiving data).
