INSZ

The INSZ (Identification Number of the Social Security) is a unique 11-digit number for Belgian citizens:

• For people registered in the Belgian national register, it corresponds with their national number. This national number starts with the person's reverse date of birth and is printed on their ID.
• For people not registered in the Belgian national register, it corresponds with their BIS number. This number is composed the same way as the national number.
