Message

Messages are all the information exchanges sent between the traffic control operator and the vehicles, drivers or displays. You can distinguish three types of messages:

Type	Description
Received messages	Messages that are sent by the driver or by a vehicle to a traffic control operator. For example: The driver sends a message to the TCO to inform him about a traffic jam When a driver logs on or off on a vehicle, the vehicle automatically sends a "driver log on" and a "driver log off" message to the TCO
Outgoing messages	Messages that are created as a custom message by a traffic control operator. These custom messages can be sent to one or more recipients.
Stop display messages	Messages that are shown on the stop displays.

Received messages

Messages that are sent by the driver or by a vehicle to a traffic control operator. For example:

The driver sends a message to the TCO to inform him about a traffic jam
