Message

Messages are all the information exchanges sent between the traffic control operator and the vehicles, drivers or displays. You can distinguish three types of messages:

Type

Description

Received messages

Messages that are sent by the driver or by a vehicle to a traffic control operator. For example:

  • The driver sends a message to the TCO to inform him about a traffic jam
  • When a driver logs on or off on a vehicle, the vehicle automatically sends a "driver log on" and a "driver log off" message to the TCO

Outgoing messages

Messages that are created as a custom message by a traffic control operator. These custom messages can be sent to one or more recipients.

Stop display messages

Messages that are shown on the stop displays.
